I got a tattoo. I've always wanted one, and my best friend and I have always spoken about getting matching tattoos. Of course, I didn't want to be stupid and get her name, or Best Friends Forever!, or something I'd regret should our friendship end. (though it's 13 years and going strong...)

In the end we opted for something with shared and dual meaning. We picked an infinity symbol made of vines to show that we wanted our friendship to carry on, and because if you tilt it sideways it's an 8. We were both born on the 8th of our respective months. On one side is a morning glory, her birth flower, and on the other is a narcissus, my birth flower.

These are from when it was first done (last Saturday) it looks swollen and crappy and not the right colours, but here's a photo anyways. I'll update once it's healed.

Both of us.

I don't know how to show anyone my tatoo. It is a little red devil with a pitchfork that has drawn blood. It is on my right butt cheek. I would like to show it to everyone but I don't want anyone running screaming in mortal terror at my full moon.

:o I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I'd never heard of a birth flower before. Would any of my fellow CSers care to enlighten me? (From the looks of it, they make a really nice tattoo)!
