Commenting in Photo Album

I'm having a rough time commenting in the photo album. My comment is 257 characters (with spaces) and contains the chars ", ), and ;. As far as I can tell, this meets the requirements for comments. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a glitch?

I know gbm looks after the photo album, so maybe, in case he doesn't catch this post, send an email directly to him describing the problem.
