I know this is not a political site, and I do not intend for this thread to become a political debate. I myself with contact the mods if it goes anywhere near a political arguement.

However this is a defining moment in our lifetime.

I pray that now the middle east will come to some kind of measureable peace and the civillians can start living a normal fear free life. I hope that soldiers families can now look forward to their return.

I wish for hope in the middle east, because bygods do we need it.

Personally, I love the idea that the Iraqi goverment used the Red Card to speed up the excution. Bet ya Saddam never thought that would come back to bite him in the ass XD.

Shocked the hell out of me to open up sundays paper and see that headline. I had no idea that it was scheduled to happen allready, (I knew that they had said it would happen within 30 days, just didn't know that was the day).

Hopefully this will pave the way to peace, and go a long way in bringing a speady turnaround to bringing our men and women back home.

Now to go visit fratching and have a little fun : )

While I cannot say that I am sorry he's gone, I do hope that it does not serve as a catalyst to begin other terrorist actions against the US and the rest of the countries involved in Iraq currently.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end to our involvement in Iraq and the middle East in general.

It's a sad time for his family. There will always be somebody around who wants to keep Hussein's regime alive just look at the Nazis - they're still around.

I just hope that people will start getting a clue and start talking with words and not bullets and missles.
