The Jets are in the playoffs. No idea who they are playing but it doesn't matter, they made it to the playoffs when no one even thought they could make it to 8-8. 10-6, decent season. Today's game against Oakland was great. My friend called me at 7:30 in the morning telling me to be ready in an hour because he was giving me a free ticket. Great game. We went with another two friends and we had a blast.

they play the Patriots . The Bengals couldve been there too had they not gagged on simple plays the last 2 weeks
Ravens made it with a first round bye :D
if Seattle or Arizona had played just a little better we would have home field the entire playoffs but alas they didnt
we already beat san diego, we can do it again if they make it to us

Detroit Lions all the way next season!
This year was a "rebuilding" year.
Heh, with as many rebuilding years as they've had, one would think they'd have the perfect team.
Bastiches...

My Steelers didn't make it, but they f*ed up some peoples chances along the way! (*ahem*CINCI!!!*ahem*)
Though it pisses me off. If we hadn't lost to Oakland it would be US going to the playoffs instead of Kansas City.
DAMN YOU JESTER!!!
Let's not forget the Jets' landlords... The (Not So) Mighty New York Football Giants.
Okay, maybe the Giants didn't get there because they're great... but they're still there. That's what counts.

The jets aren't going anywhere. The giants are doomed too. It will probably be the Bears and the chargers in the Super Bowl.

If the Jets beat the Patriots again at New England while in the playoffs, it won't even matter to me anymore. I was hoping to play the Colts cause they suck after the regular season. Hopefully Tom Brady gets injured.
As for the Giants, they got in because the NFC sucks, plain and simple.

It's okay to suck, as long as everybody else sucks more.

Geez, i wish the Cowboys could stop people from burning us on deep pass plays.
If we couldn't stop John Kitna and Roy Williams, how will we stop MAtt Hasselbeck and Deion Branch?
At least we're in the tournament. its been a long time coming.

If the Giants lose then I'll be rootin' for the Jets and the Colts.

Well, I'll root for the Giants when they play the Eagles, because I hate Philly fans thus I hate their teams. And should the Giants and the Cowboys win, I'll be rooting for the Giants again as I hate Dallas.
Greenday, you have your NFC East priorities straight. No one's more annoying than Philadelphia fans (although Steelers fans can be a handful, too). And the Cowboys are just plain annoying.

With the way our OL has played of late, this might not be the problem you think, Brass. (grumble grumble)
Of course, I'll still cheer the 'Hawks on, but this time I'll be doing it from the warmth of my living-room sofa. I've had enough rain-soaked Sundays (and Mondays and Thursdays, argh!!) this year, watching them kick themselves in every available limb, so if I have to ride the Seahawks rollercoaster I'm at least going to do it comfortably. ;)
(And, yes, I know I wouldn't last a single game at Lambeau or any other place like that. This is why I am a hockey fan - sure there's ice, but it's indoors. :D )

We can be a handful, sure, but that's cause we love our team. Not because we're hoodlums looking for a reason to fight and riot!
Philly fans, in general, scare me!

The worst fans Ive ever seen are browns fans . (Ive been to Cleveland a couple times ive seen first hand what jerks alot of them are) I work with a few steeler fans and I love rubbing it in when the Bengals beat them. I can appreciate Cowhers intensity though
i bet their gonna return the favor big time this week :p

Sat 1/6. Payton Manning plays like crap in the playoffs as usual. Three interceptions. Somehow comes through with a win. Colts will lose next week against a good team.
Poor Romo. An ok day. Almost 190 passing yards, one TD, and no INTs. Fumbled the ball at the end and Dallas is knocked out. What a great year he had and to think that's how he'd end it. I hate Dallas, but I feel bad for Romo.

I've always loved the NFL because no two teams match up to other the teams the same. So while you can sometimes predict what is about to happen, you can't always predict it. And there is always a huge chance for an upset.
Me being a Dallas fan, I'm upset with how it turned out. However, I think this was a good game for Tony Romo. He'll come out of this better... and we'll see what the future has in store for him.
I'm rootin' for New Orleans the rest of the way... the New Orleans story is an amazing story this year.

There's no way New Orleans coach should have gotten coach of the year. He didn't deserve it. His time was bad last year yea. But look at who is on the team this year! Reggie Bush, Drew Brees, Deuce McAllister, etc. You get the idea. With a team like that I predicted them to have a much better season. 10-6? They should have been AT LEAST 12-4. If anything, it was disappointing. Not worthy of coach of the year.
Look at Mangini. As one announcer said, most people can't even name three people on the Jets. The Jets were predicted to do HORRIBLE this year. And the Jets are in the playoffs. Why in the world DIDN'T Mangini get coach of the year? He was the clear choice.

Well... last year he was the Asst Head coach and passing game coordinator for the Cowboys.
I think the New Orleans Saints really are one of the best stories (excuse my Chris Collinsworthism there) of the NFL this year.
A lot of people expected the Redskins to go far with all the money they were throwing around, but they didn't. Just because you have a team of champions, doesn't make them a championship team.
