This morning on New Year's Day I participated in a road race that I have been running in for the last 4 years. It was a 5k race and I had a long sleeve shirt and shorts on in 42 degree Michigan weather. At the final mile of the race, I got sweaty that I actually took my shirt off and just a few seconds after that it started raining and didn't bother putting my shirt on. Yes I was cold, yes I looked silly but not as silly as the guys wearing skirts, but I had fun and I broke the top 10 of the race for the first time.
