So, my brother is a disc jockey and he had an event this July 4th that ran from 5:00PM to Midnight. He was DJing on the beach, which had an enormous firework display beginning at 9:00.
So all is well up until then, people were dancing, having a good time, etc. At about 8:50PM, just before the fireworks are about to begin, the music stops and my brother gives a little inspirational speech about the troops over in Iraq, fighting for our freedom, making sure we stay safe, etc. The speech ended just as the fireworks began, and he slid into the chorus of "Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood as the red, white and blue fireworks lit up the sky. It was amazing, and brought tears to the eyes of most of the bystanders.
Soon after, some guy has the nerve to come up and start shouting to turn off the music. He was pissed because the music somewhat prevented him from hearing the "boom" of the fireworks. As he was being shooed away and being given evil glares by the surrounding people, he tries to take a nearby hose and squirt the speakers and ruin them. Thankfully, before he was able to do that, a police officer interfered and promptly took him into custody.
