Hey all,

I got a shiny new lappy for Christmas and I have been working on getting things transfered from the desktop to the laptop. The one thing that I am having trouble with is getting my music to my new computer.

I use MusicMatch Jukebox (free). I got the program on my new computer, but now I need all my old music. Would I lose anything if I just transfered it from my keydrive, or would I lose important info that can prove that I have paid for it?

Yahoo! hasn't been very helpful. They tried to be, but when I told them I had the free version I got no response. Can anybody here help me?

if by the tearm keydrive you mean a USB flash drive, you should have no problems loading onto the drive and unloading onto the lappy. its pretty simple, just slect and highlight the track(s) and drag them onto the drive, its the same process to unload the drive. just be sure to delete the duplicate file on the keydrive and your all set.

Yeah, I can do that, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose the rights to the music (I pay $.99/song and don't want the government knocking on my door saying I don't have proof of purchase). Just wanna make sure that's legal.

I think when you try to play it they'll just ask for your account. And as long as that account downloaded whatever song is "locked" you should be fine.
