It helps that we've gone 4 years without being hacked, which I think is also a record.

No need to be modest. You've got more than twice that at 36 posts. ;)

Psst. Seattle. I'll pay for GK's train ticket. That way he's certain to have REALLY fresh stories to tell when he gets there! :D

Is that all posts or just the ones that are counted in the main forums?

It's the post count doohickey on the top left of the main forum index :D
After that, it gets a little fuzzy.

Nope, no new tape. Backups are done daily, and we have offsite backups, too, of everything that I could think of to backup (including the list of installed software). We could get hacked, and we could lose data, but it won't be much, regardless.

Something of interest I wanted to point out. It seems we set a new record for the most people online at one time on December 1st of this year.
There has been a rather large influx of new members over the past few months. I wonder if Black Friday and holiday shopping has to do with it. Or if it's the whole "Economy" thing forcing people who are desperately trying to keep their jobs to find another place to vent their frustrations.

We did what?
Going to have to check records to see why.

Not bad for a relatively small site such as this.
add 200K more posts, and you've got 1/10th of the postcount of my home site (not my website, just a site I predominantly go on, and moderate)

I can;t screen cap for squat on this laptop, but here's the quote from the "Who's online?" list.
Most users ever online was 1,146, 12-01-2010 at 02:33 AM.

Oh, I saw that, then decided to head for the log file analyser.
No idea. Not one. We're usually between 100 and 200 much of the time, but over 1000 has only ever happened once before, and that's when Vinegar Boy hit Reddit and other places. There's really nothing showing on referring links at all.
Me belong baffled.
