well I had my data entry tests, math test, email composition test and typing speed test today
passed all of them, waited around for an hour, had my final interview
as long as my police check and refrences come through Im pretty sure I have the job!
its great, they will take care of my medical, dental, they have stock options and rrsp plans, they would even give me a recommend for a permanent work permit and help me apply for it and everything! the moneys ok, I can earn up to $13 an hour, I dont start on that but.... I can get there.
they also have PAID training, 6 weeks of it!! ok so its a call centre, not the greatest job in the world, and its not in the art field... but I have to wait out for an art gallery position anyway, i might as well do it in a job were I get good benefits.
the ONLY thing that worries me is my current employeers, I had a terrible week at work, only sold 7 paintings in 18 hours, I usually do between 19 and 25 .... so my boss was not happy (understandably) ...the thing is I did everything exactly the same as the week before when I sold 21 paintings... no one wanted to buy though!
she now is wanting me to pester people who are just walking past.... ugh see this is why I didnt want a sales job.... if someone points out a painting while they are walking I have to leap at them and start my speil *headdesk*
Im scared she wont say great things when the call centre people call her. Shes a very nice person but she wasnt exactly in the greatest mood with me either.
gahhhh please hurry up and call!!!!!!!!!
