Just had a server freeze. Had to reboot the server to clear it. Apologies for the interruption.

He doesn't need a passport. He's been taking 'Walk Thru Walls" lessons from Pixel.

I was in the middle of surfing the site, went to open a "new" thread, and (on Google Chrome) the little circular loading arrow, that turns clockwise when a page is loading, was doing that slow, counter-clockwise spin. Eventually got the alert from Chrome that the page couldn't be loaded.

So, tried a couple more threads, and got some sort of vBulletin alert indicating there was a problem.

I thought we'd broken CS!

Nope, not broken. I've got the technical issue nailed down as to the root cause of the problem. It's just implementing a fix that's challenging. I've got the basics done, but have to cause an outage (or be watching when one happens) to verify the specifics.

To that end, be watching this space. It's looking like next weekend is when I'll be doing so.
