On Saturdays we open 10-4. It was completely dead, I mean, completely. Yeah, Saturdays are usually quiet, but there were no phone calls, no walk ins, nothing.

When I start to leave at four, I find out why.... I'd forgotten to unlock the door. :ashamed:

Fortunately, the only punishment I got was a SEVERE razzing.

Well I wasn't dumb enough to leave the phones off the hook; Saturday's just a completely dead day for us.

Well Saturday is usually reserved for peopel who want to pick up their orders or what have you. There's also the occasional walk in - provided the door's not locked. It's not a bad gig, considering my house is right next door and I can gleefuly run over and grab a snack.

I Googled that and came up with an emoticon list for some other forum. It includes a tumbleweed emoticon and a Google is your friend emoticon (http://www.flexbeta.net/forums/index.php?act=legends&CODE=emoticons).

Maybe someone could get permission to add a couple of those over here.

I suppose a good use for it would be when you don't believe something someone posted. As in, "That's a load of horsesh*t!"

I have fogotten to unlock the front doors on more than one occasion. I come in the back.

The best is when a customer call in from the parking lot asking when we open!
