Me and the wife went to Origins in Columbus Ohio a few years back. It was ok. More from the fact we went with some people who where breakign their friendship with us up. But since my friend in the Navy was with us it was still pretty cool.

It is always so cool to have robin hood walking the streets of Columbus.....

Last year we met Kevin Sorbo (funny, nice, and even handsomer in person - but not as buff as he was on Hercules). He even told my hubby he has to take me on a cruise. (Still haven't gone ... Grrrr).

I also met, and had great conversations with, Richard Hatch and Jamie Bamber (original Apollo and new Apollo respectfully). Both very gorgeous men too. *le sigh*

I even met R. A. Salvatore. He was a great guy. Even took a few minutes to talk to everyone who got his autograph.

I had a blast. And I get to play my Asimar Bard!!! YAY!!!! (Think Paris Hilton, lol).

I already have a room in the Hyatt for Origins, and I have a buddy with a suite at GenCon that has offered me a room if I want to go. I like Origens better, in general, because it is easier to get into games on-site. GenCon, I have to register so far ahead of time to get events I want, it's kind of annoying.

If you want to say "Hi" to me at either, I play in Red Shirt Games' Injurius Games Tourney on Saturday at both cons. Look for the tall geek playing the ratz squad.:wave:

Well, I got a room for me and hubby today. The website for getting a hotel close to the convention center was fubar'd all to heck. However, we're at the Radisson Hotel (which according to the website is about 5 blocks away, give or take). Not too shabby. I wanted one of the hotels actually attached to the convention center, but that wasn't happening. :(

I'll more than likely be either in the dealer room OR I'l be in the upstairs WoTC room for Living Eberron/Living Greyhawk.

Hope to see some CSers there! :)
