Leaving Saturday!

I will be on my way to New Orleans! I'll be gone for about 5 days, out enjoying the parades and drunkenness at Mardi Gras. I haven't gone on vacation in about two years, so I am psyched. I also have no real clue what to expect when I get there. I've never been to New Orleans before. My hunny's parents rented an RV and myself, my hunny, and his parents and sister will all be sharing close quarters for the week...so it might be a bit of a test, but I can't wait!

I won't be taking my awesome camera, as I have a feeling I'll be spending most of my time relaxing and not wanting to worry about it getting stolen, but I'll try to get some snapshots to share!

I went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans a couple years back, and it was a great time. That is a really fun city. I was worried about my camera getting stolen, So I bought a couple disposable cameras.

Irateguy: thanks for the suggestion. My BF says that will probably be one of our first stops- his parents have gone to Mardi Gras quite frequently, and he can't imagine we wouldn't stop there. :D

Roo- That's what my dad suggested, too! :) I have one disposable at the ready and will probably grab another depending on how snapshot crazy I get. ;) I think my BF's sister and parents also have digital cameras...so hopefully I'll get some good shots to post. I don't have many pics of me and my BF together because he hides whenever a camera comes out :lol:
