I started back at work today. Last Friday's picking coordinator got hold of me and said the meeting back then was funny.

"That figure seems higher than normal," the FACs said when he told them how many lines we had left to pick. "Have you counted the fridge lines?"

"Well, yes. They need picking."

"You don't need to do that. Rapscallion picks those on a Saturday."

"He's on holiday..."

There was one of those 'oh shit' moment.

I just need to work to make sure that others can do my stuff, I guess...

I was told at my last job one Monday that my being off the previous Saturday constituted a "disaster". One bright spot in a hellacious situation, that compliment was.
