Yes, so we were at the beach again today. Same group as with the limo story (me, my 14 yr. old and 6 yr. old sons, and 2 of my friends).

I had taken my 6 yr.old up to the car and left my 14 yr. old son with my friends. We usually sit by the life guard tower which by that time was closed up for the day.

Anyhoo, apparently my eldest son was climbing the lifeguard tower (okay, he shouldn't be doing that but that's not the point) when this chick and some photographers came up to start a photo shoot. She walked right over to where my 14 yr old was- and dropped her towel- revealing that she was TOPLESS. :pissed:

This is not a nude beach we're talking about.

And it wasn't just MY kid that was there- no, there had been a bunch of young children around also. My friends got my son away from there ASAP. The other parents took their kids and left the beach when she did that.

There was also a wedding party setting up right around us also. How completely INCONSIDERATE! Going topless in the midst of at least 4 familes with children and a wedding party.

Fortunately for the woman and her photographers they (my friends) also neglected to tell me this until she was gone (she had a top on by the time I got back). I'm assuming because they knew I'd have throttled the stupid bitch within an inch of her life. Okay, I wouldn't really have throttled her but I guarantee there would have been a very verbal confrontation.

WTF were they thinking going to a PUBLIC BEACH and picking and area where a bunch of children/families/wedding were for a topless photo shoot?!?!?!

Sorry for the rant. I just keep thinking about it. I'd report it but I don't know who they were or who to tell...

Whoa! Inconsiderate is an under-statement! That was so wrong of them to do.
I could never been seen topless in public, photoshoot or not - that's beyond embarassing!

You would think they would have chosen a more secluded place. How bad would it look if the photos came out with this topless woman and innocent children playing in the background?!

I don't know who you would report it to either...

Yes, thank-you.

There is actually a beautiful rock embankment just a ways down from where we were that she could have done all kinds of topless poses on and nobody really would have seen them. She could have had some great shots with the waves breaking over the rock face behind her.

But, nooooo....

What's with you Americans and nude sunbathing!

Just teasing. When I was in Spain, while most women bathed with tops on, a few didnt. I felt really awkward when some red-headed woman walked right toward me topless like she didnt have a care in the world. I almost froze up when I found myself walking toward her ("What the hell DO you do when you're a guy in public and a topless woman you dont know is walking toward you without looking like an a-hole!" ) I just walked by her, smiled and politely looked down as we passed each other. I think that was the polite way to handle it.

Hmmm, I think either of those is going to make you look like an a-hole. :)

NA, that behaviour would most likely be illegal. If it's not a nude beach, then she'd be breaking public decency laws. Although you don't know who it was, it might still be worth reporting it to the Police just to get it on record. They may even investigate and find out who, and charge them (yeah right, but cross fingers!).
