3D in the theater was pretty awesome, if for no other reason that the Gallifreyan art and the battle scenes from the Last Time War. Also, it was really nice to see Doctor Who on the big screen.

The two little items before the main feature were amusing, with the Sentauran (sp?) bit far outshining Matt and David's bit for comedy. Not that their bit wasn't funny. It was. But the first one was just funnier, to me.

I went to the later showing, and there were a whopping 7 of us in the theater. Apparently there was also one person in the 2D showing as well, according to the girl at the box office. So not a sellout like many places up north, but you have to figure that a lot more people went to the 7:00 showing.

And as it turns out, it's a good thing I chose the 10:00 showing. Between rain making it busier than a normal Monday and the mid shift bartender being the new guy, there was never a chance of my getting out of work before 7:00, so I would have missed the early show.
