Would it be easier (ha ha) to have a forum exclusively for wishing happy birthday to fellow CSers, or to just topic them in the "Off Topic" area?

I did consider that, but it would probably be ignored by quite a number of people. Also, there is such a thing as too many forums to dilute it too much - that's something I'm very careful about.
Anyone else got opinions on this?

Actually, I believe I made that suggestion when the site was starting back up.
I didn't make it publicly, of course, but if I remember, the answer then was what you just mentioned, Raps - a concern about too many forums cluttering up the site.
I think OT is fine and just start a new topic with the person's name on it, as we have always done.Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.Comment
