Journal Section

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a journal section either in the forum or in the profiles themselves which would be hidden from public view in either case. Also, like the album section, the member can decide whether or not they want others to see their jounal entries.

There is blogging software available for VB, but I've not really looked at it as it costs a touch more and the old server was having problems. Also, there are many free services out there to do just that and they can be set to private.

I'll have to poke around to see if profile messages you put on yourself can be set to private or something.

I'm sure you'll be able to work it out. It should come in handy especially for those who need to document stuff about work that the public shouldn't see.

I don't like the blog idea on CS. A blog is easy to get and free with many good blogging websites on the internet. Why bother having one more? It'll just take up more space.

Why not just post a link to your blog in your profile or signature?
