On another forum I frequent, they have articles written by members stating things like "This is what you should look out for..." "This is what it's defined as.." etc, similar to the harassment one on the forum. I was wondering about the possibility of creating more of those, such as an article on how to deal with shoplifters, types of scams to watch out for (and possibly beat) etc.
Things that might appeal across the broad cultural base, rather than being US based.

There's an 'advice' section already - it's there for both profferred and requested advice. Would go in there marvellously.

I'm aware of the advice section, that's sort of what I had in mind. Articles like:

Shoplifting methods: what to look out for/how to prevent. (different stores tend to give different advice)
How to beat scammers
The best way to deal with abusive customers over the phone/on a checkout etc.
How to speak to a manager effectively about issues...

Some of these might already have tips implemented by the company, but it might also serve well for those who are unfamiliar with the above and can be updated as time periods change.

Feel free to start posting threads in there and getting tips from everyone. If it turns out to be good stuff, I'll certainly consider sticking it on the front pages.

Or maybe not even in the front pages, just in the forums a la the "harassment" ruling.

The site I got the idea from is called TeenHelp.org and is UK based. The articles there are a bit more broader though.
If I can get enough, I'll start collating them and I'll present a copy to you guys is that OK?
