Is userbars allowed as part of our sigs?

Like "Mountain Dew User" or "Legend of the Seeker Fan" and such?

No idea what they are, but long ago I decided to keep the graphics to a minimum and kept images out of signatures.

Etiquette Hell allows pics and stuff in sigs...there's a lot of larger pics, various tickers (my kid is this many years/months/days old; Lost 10 pounds, 20 more to go...sometimes multiple tickers in a sig - at least one person has 3, one for each kid). They get distracting.

I think there are options to limit the number and size on this software, but as a general rule I try to keep the forums as dialup friendly as possible. I agree, though, they're distracting from the main content.

I prefer it this way, too. It may be a bit plain, but some forums are so busy that it's almost as if you can't even read the post because of all the pictures and colors and symbols!
