  • Searching phrases.

Is there a way that I'm not aware of to search for specific phrases? For example, I use the advance search to find a post with "Sucky manager" (in quotations), but the search option gives me 20 pages of posts with "sucky" or "manager", never just "Sucky Manager". Since I have a bad habit of overlooking things, I wonder if I am missing something, but I couldn't find any tool on advance search for exact phrases.

No idea - have you tried searching with quotes around or hyphenate the words?

From my short bit of trying, and of Google searching, it seems like there is no way in vBulletin to search for an exact phrase.

However, you can use Google to search for the phrase. It won't search the Cursing Out Coworkers or Morons in Management forums, since they're not public, but you can go to Google, and enter this for your search:

      Code:
      site:customerssuck.com "sucky manager"
And that will do the search you're looking for.

I guess that will have to do. Thanks.
