Black Friday Forum

Just a thought that occurred to me. Every year we have a huge amount of stories concerning Black Friday, for obvious reasons. Would anyone else like the idea of having a forum dedicated to this yearly event?

Maybe make it Black Friday and Christmas? Not everyone has Black Friday. I don't... and, thanks to all the horror stories about said day, I'm fine with that. O.o

UK traditionally has January sales, I guess. However, what would we do with it the rest of the year?

Would it be something that could be brought out every Christmas season? I just wanted to see if the idea would have much support , even with limited use throughout the year. Here in Canada we also do not have a Black Friday but it could also be combined with boxing day sales. My thought was mainly since our job is so focused on one season/few days that it may be suitable to have a specific outlet for its specific SC's and issues.

As with all suggestions I would not be offended if it had no support ^^ Ideas are just meant to be put out there.

I wouldn't see a problem with a "Black Friday" thread each year dedicated to the stories for that year, but I would wonder about having enough material for an entire forum that only gets used once a year, and is only really relevant to a portion of our membership.

Not all of our members experience the "Black Friday" thing, since it's pretty specific to our American members.

Sounds good, I'll try and start one next year then. Your right with something seeing so little use (one weekend or at most one season) it should be kept to a thread.
