I had a cw (V) who did that sort of thing.
V operated a coffee stand at work--at cost. He charged $0.25/cup at that time. Some wise guy, G, would wait until someone else paid a quarter. G would then pay in a roll of pennies and take the quarter as change--always when V was away from his desk. Over a month V had amassed a sizable stack of rolled up pennies. Well it finally happened: G didn't have any change and asked V to break a $20 for him. Guess how V did it.
That's right $19.50 in rolled up pennies and 25 loose.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!
