If I heard that thing nearby, I'd be tearing around looking for a lost kitten.
My siblings and I were in eastern Europe several years ago, looking for the site of our grandparents' village. My SIL and sister and I were standing in the middle of a field when we heard the weirdest noise we've ever heard ... we stood there staring at each other, wondering if there were ghosts wandering around ...
Turned out to be a puddleful of frogs. The noise they made was unlike anything most people think of when they think of frogs ... no "ribbet", no croak, nothing like that.
Not nearly as cute as this, though.Comment
