  • Free College Courses (it's REAL!)

    https://www.edx.org/

Don't know if you get college credits, or anything..but you can get absolutely FREE courses from major colleges. Harvard, Berkley, and many more.
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

Website says in its FAQ that gaining credit is entirely up to the particular institute. As it stands, though, the institutes that offer it do not count these courses for credit themselves, saying that they aren't as rigorous as what matriculated students go through.

Either way, I think I see a few courses I want to try

www.coursera.org is one I use that offers courses from major universities. Currently taking two from University of Melbourne: "Epigenetic Control of Gene Expression" and "Exercise Physiology: Understanding the Athlete Within".

I've completed half a dozen others so far from U of Michigan, Johns Hopkins, UCSF, UC Irvine, U of Penn, and Penn State. Don't get actual credit, but most courses do offer certificates of completion, and I figure even if I don't get college credit they still look nice on a resume.

www.udacity.com is another popular site for free classes as well, though I haven't used it.
