Retailers Share Their Advice In Dealing With Unruly Kids

Apparently, someone who was called "Had It With Overindulged Kids" complained to Dear Abby. Many customers and retailers responded. I liked the store that had the stones to enforce their own policy. I also liked the business that charged the mother for her sons' destructive behavior.

I liked those, that is a column I would like to see continued and expanded.

The problem I have with having a designated play area is that it doesn't always work - the library system I work in has gotten more into this over the years (with the children's areas), and while it's great for customers, it's NOT so great for the staff who have to clean up after them.
