      Sad but not surprising. Most of the "Classic" Christmas specials were made in the '60s (Rudolf was from '64), so this would be almost 50 years after he performed the role. Larry Mann was already middle-aged when "Rudolf" was filmed, and was 92 years old when he died.
      Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

        Yeah, it's scary to think how old those shows are.

        When I saw this guy had died I kept hearing Rudolph's voice from the show when Yukon went over the cliff: "He's gone! Oh, he's gone!"

          First time I saw it was fairly recently (within the last 20 years or so), and soon thereafter I saw a display of figurines from Rudolph and the Island of Misfit Toys. I thought it was a new special that the marketing department was cashing in on, but I was shocked to realize it was older than I am.
          Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
