  • Candies from hell (toilet humour)

So I know some people have reactions to certain sugar substitutes producing a laxative effect or just gas. But apparently these gummi bear candies have an extreme effect on some people. The item itself does include a warning of it's effect as a laxative. According to the reviews the warning is insufficient.

Normally I don't care for toilet humour but these reviews on amazon are so well written.

I'm learnign many new ways to describe things, like intestinal armageddon or shitpocalypse. and the most recent instruction of:
IF YOU EAT THESE PREPARE YOUR CHEEKS WITH VASELINE,
    or
Lurched forth like an angry proclaimation of "FUS-RO-DAH!" my anus released an angry growl that was undoubtedly inhuman.

Tip: when looking at "sugar free" products, check the ingredients for "sugar alcohols" or for ingeredients ending in -ol such as malitol or sorbitol.

Yes, they are sweet and they aren't sugar. They'll also do a number on most folks digestive tracts if you eat more than a small amount.

Also, if I recall correctly, they process much the same as sugar after causing the intestinal distress. This is why diabetics can't rely on "sugar free" labels as far too many such products might as well have sugar for the effects they have on the consumers blood sugar levels.
