Well, it's been a while since I've dealt with bulk tankers and I'm not sure of the density of glitter vs concrete, but it would take around 45 minutes to an hour to unload a tanker with 26 tons of concrete. I would expect glitter to be less dense, but even if it's half as dense as concrete that tanker is still going to have 13 tons of glitter. Assuming the same transport rate(mass moved over time) as with concrete, it would take a little under a half hour.
Speaking of glitter, I've debated a Halloween costume for a couple years now, wanted to make a glitter monster that can throw a stream of glitter, either arm mounted a la spideys web throwers or go dragonesque and give it a glitter breath weapon.
The key to the costume lies in two lovely tooltoys I own. First off, the air wonder gun. It's a venturi gun that uses compressed air. Commonly sold as a vacuum, but if you take apart the gun and reverse the venturi port, it's a blowgun.
They do work kind of neat for launching tootsie rolls as well, tried it for a parade float once. It just doesn't work well enough. Needs to be just a bit larger diameter for the tootsie rolls to flow right. As it was, it would launch a few then the twisty ends would catch and plug the nozzle, poke it and it would unjam, but it needed constant attention.
And for power, instead of having to drag an air compressor, I plan on using a Powertank system. CO2 tank with a regulator that outputs @ normal compressor levels. Real reminiscent of remote line setups for paintball.
