  • Man attempts to sue police after car chase.

So this guy got scared because the police put on the sirens, and started to speed down roads, going on the wrong side, severing between cars, apperently even going well over a 100 mph at times.. After a long time of this, the police figure this guy is a maniac and is a danger to others, so they bump into his car hoping to stop it.

Unfortanly, the car got wrecked, and the man became a quadriplegic. Naturally in his eyes the police used unnecessary force to stop him, and is attempting to sue all he can.

The judge and jury didn't buy it.

Looks like the dumbass learned a hard lesson - you reap what you sow. A car chase would never happen if the idiots didn't run in the first place.
Figers are vicious I tell ya. They crawl up your leg and steal your belly button lint.

    I'm a case study.

:sigh: When are these fools going to learn that cooperating with the police yields much better results than fighting them?! If he had only pulled over when they first approached him, he would've been charged with speeding and driving on a suspended license. Both serious charges, true, but at least he'd still be walking today. Instead, he flees the police and ends up a quadriplegic in an assisted-living facility. Stupid, stupid, stupid!
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Of course it would be a person from my state. Of course they would do something so brain-painfully stupid.
BTW, if you look up the case on wikipedia, you can get a link to the opinion and the video. Highly interesting.
