No wonder his nursing staff has misgivings about him. He's a freak.

His demands are absolutely ridiculous, no question. But in his defense, he acknowledges them as ridiculous and says he's going to pay most of the rent for putting up with him. He doesn't need a roommate for financial reasons, so he's just putting a crazy wish list out there in case someone actually looks at it and says "Hey! That's a perfect situation for me."

He's a loon, but there's someone out there for everyone.

I don't think he's the worst roommate ever. At least this guy is being up front and honest about what he is looking for in a roommate, and he acknowledges his own quirks and hangups. The worst roommate ever would have left all those details out, and let you figure it out for yourself once you were locked into the lease.

Exactly. At least this guy is considerate to potential roommates in letting them know up front what they'd be getting into. A worst roommate ever would leave you to figure the quirks and thou-shalt-nots on your own once they started flipping out (like my psycho my junior year of college).

Part of me does wonder if it is a joke, but, like the Worst Fanfic Ever, I've known people like that and am afraid it's not.

Now I have quirks like that, but they are more related to my germphobia (not rinsing dishes or using chemicals around me... doorknobs and touching me, not leaving sponges wet and such.

But this guy is just...wow... he is going to be lonely for a long time if he doesnt learn to let stuff go!
