I've posted before but time for a refresher. My neighbors were having an extremely loud bathroom conversation at 12:45 am, as you do , and I put my little but fairly powerful speaker in the shower with this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3Ja44JpMH0 and Loud Lady got quieter. I sometimes put it on a loop.
