I've seen people in empty to nearly empty parking lots park their cark horizontal in vertical parking places. They're just sitting in the car, probably waiting for someone, and taking up 2 or 3 places when they could just park correctly and not bother people. Then there's the people who just sit in the car in the street when there's plenty of parking.
