  • California drivers are THAT BAD???

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070721/..._repair_rage_5

----This is the FIRST time of me hearing about road rage being sooooo bad and out of control that the state had to shut the road down! Just when you think humanity has stooped to an all-time-low it gets even lower. Good job braniacs. Now you really have to drive out of your way for awhile to get wherever you're going.

I read that the other day, and I was shaking my head over the "burrito incident."

"Sir, you're being ticketed for speeding through a work zone and assault with a Tex-Mex foodstuff..."
    Testing
"I saw a flock of moosen! There were many of 'em. Many much moosen. Out in the woods- in the woodes- in the woodsen. The meese want the food. The food is to eatenesen."

      People really suck.

This is just another example of people who don't seem to be able to process that it isn't the workers fault--they're just doing their job, and are not the ones who decided to tear up the road.

It just amazes me is that these are grown adults (supposedly) but you have to treat them like little children. It's like when little Johnny uses a toy to hurt other kids and you have to go and take the toy away from him because he refuses to stop. And then he acts like he didnt do anything wrong. And I would NOT be happy if I lived out there if I was forced to spend even more time and gas in traffic because of this, especially since gas in now at 4 bucks a gallon out there and STILL climbing! I'd like to make those cocks pay for my extra gas.

Not to mention people who can't be patient due to a short term inconvience for a long term benefit.
How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

My husband and I actually drove on the highways of Los Angeles/Hollywood/Beverly Hills/etc, back in 2005. We drove out to Santa Monica from Las Vegas for a day trip to see the ocean (which I had never seen yet) and just be a tourist.

Anyway, during the day, the drivers around us were fairly ok. We were (ok my husband was) a bit aprehensive because we were also trying to navigate without much help of road-marking signs (or lack thereof) to tell us where we were headed. Many were faded, covered in spraypaint, and some on the overpass ones were covered in barbed wire! Mind you, we live in the Twin Cities (rather the northern suburbs, but still).

However when dusk fell and we were headed back to Vegas, that's when everyone went nuts!! It felt like everyone around us were being chased by the cops, although being in L.A., it wouldn't be a stretch to say one or two were. I actually kept my eyes closed until we got out of the LA area and about 10 minutes into the suburbs.
