Basically a woman with the last name Butts, is caught stealing toilet paper.

3 years for toilet paper? Where do we live, Soviet Russia?!! If you're even going to charge her with a crime, the most it should be is probation, but I would only ask her to reimburse the county for the toilet paper.

Most people who are caught stealing toilet paper get mocked and teased unmercifiully....

I think 3 years is a little harsh. Had I caught the person at the gas station who tore apart the whole fixture just to steal the two (half) rolls in it, I would have let them keep it but I would have followed them out of the store pointing and laughing. I mean, if they REALLY needed to steal the toilet paper, I would have unlocked the fixture and just let them have it.

But it's quite humorous if you think about it. Good thing I'm not that desperate. I ask my parents for a roll or two every once in a while. I'd never go to a public place and STEAL it.
