Aw, you beat me to it! I was just about to post the story. Here's another link: http://www.comcast.net/news/national...05/781061.html

I hope McDonald's learns from this, and this doesn't happen again.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Not to belittle the victim or anything but how does an 18 year old not realize that something wasn't right with the 'police interogation'?
How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

        http://abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=3688563&page=1

I'm guessing that the girl was just naive and too scared/shocked to do anything. She was probably brought up to respect her elders and authority figures.

I can't believe the assistant manager bitch that strip-searched her and called in her boyfriend to watch the girl got awarded $1 million?!?! That lady should be in prison!!

How could someone be so fucking dumb as to comply with a phone call like that - a complete stranger, and also to not know that that is NOT how police operate - they'd never call on the phone and have a citizen strip-search another. What she should have done was immediately hung up and *69'd the call and then called the local police. If I were her, I would've immediately thought the phone call to be an absolute prank and I would have notified the authorities.

Something tells me that the assistant manager and her boyfriend may have complied with the caller because they got off sexually on the abuse of the girl, making her strip and etc.

And also, what the HELL was wrong with her 27-year-old co-worker that he didn't call the cops and report what was going on after they called him in there to watch her? Everyone who works at this McDonald's seems to have shit-for-brains.

          This was originally discussed here:
          http://www.customerssuck.com/board/s...0306#post60306

I'm pretty sure, when it happened, it was also discussed on the old board.

That link also has a link to a video of the actual footage of the search taking place.

Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.
