Actually, what I read had nothing to do with the fact that water wasn't mopped up, and was related entirely to the fact that the family did not have proper safety features in place to prevent a child from drowning..

Sorry, I should have clarified. I got that from the paperwork filed for this case.

All it says in there is that the water she slipped on was there because the mother moved the child into the house after retrieving him from the pool. And that the family failed to maintain a safe environment or warn of possible dangerous conditions. (were they supposed to have wet floor signs?)

Which made me loathe this (I don't even want to call her a person) even more.
