They originally simply refused a rating twice (http://wii.ign.com/articles/825/825520p1.html), which is different than banning it, technically. Though in practise, as a game can't be sold without a rating, it amounts to the same thing. So they actually went the next step and banned it, eh? Wankers.

I tend to assume if the Daily Mail screams 'BAN THIS SICK FILTH!' That it's a good game.

Is the process in the UK the same as it is in Australia? ie. a game or film is classified RC - a roundabout way that effectively says classified Refused Classification - and thus it cannot be distributed?

(My connection is seriously slow right now and those pages aren't loading...)

I don't think that the OFLC here can actually ban a film though...
