R.I.P. Colonel Gail S. Halvorsen “The Berlin Candy Bomber”

Colonel Gail S. Halvorsen known as “The Berlin Candy Bomber” for his dropping a total of 23 tons of candy and giving hope to the children of Berlin in the aftermath of WW2 passed away Wednesday night. He was 101.
