What art do y'all like?

They had a exhibition on at the art gallery of Arthurian Legend and since the library was closed and it was chucking it down outside I decided to wander round. Very impressed with a couple of pictures, especially the giant tapestry.
The little one is Queen Guinevere's Maying by John Collier and the BIGGG one is one of the Holy Grail tapestries by William Knox d'Arcy. Took him five years to do

I like my pictures where I can actually see what it is supposed to be. A splodge or three black lines,a red square and a blue square that you want a couple of hundred quid from me for? Nope.

This is a good question, Kit. I like to think my art tastes are eclectic, but there are some things I look at and say, "eh, I don't get it" or "that's not art". For instance, a few years ago I went to an art museum near here. One of the pieces was just a bunch of rocks arranged in a disc shape. I didn't get it, and wondered how it was art. I'm a fan of some of M. C. Escher's art, and I like watching Bob Ross videos on YouTube.
