  • 35 years in International Banking and now working at a Supermarket?

Was lurking at the Where's George Forums and came upon this little gem:

*facepalm* 35 years in banking and she still can't differentiate real from Counterfeit? And it takes a 20 year old to knock a little common sense into these folks?

Damn. Ya know, when stores get singles from the bank, sometimes they get brand new ones (I always hated that!). They are usually in sequential order. So if she got them as change from another store who got their change order in new bills, they very likely would be in sequential order. And who looks at the order of the serial numbers, anyway?

I have to wonder why the whiner in that thread is commenting on the cashiers ages, as if that makes any difference at all.

Well, now you know why she's no longer in banking.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.
