A thing about "country accents".....

I notice that pretty much each state in the south has their own unique accent. When I lived in Atlanta where people from all over the south have moved to, I could actually identify where most people were from just from hearing their accent. Pretty much each state has their own accent.

However, some of the kids at the schools I work at say that I sound like I'm from Canada.

Your accent sounds not as heavy as those I've heard from there, but yeah, it sounds Tennessee. It aint like the Georgia accent that's so thick that I sometimes can't even understand it. What's funny is that when you live in a different area like that your voice starts to adapt the local accent. I've caught myself a couple of times nearly pronouncing the word food like "feud".
