"Parents" ( had to put that into quotes) leave 5 month old strapped into car seat for 8 days without food or water.

I don't really support the death penalty but I am seriously considering it in this case.

Sad but I think love and compassion is something that is learned. It is something that was shown in experiments in which primates killed their young when they were born. When they were shown how to care for their young they stopped doing it. I've read that this is the main reason why a parent should ALWAYS respond to a baby when it cries.
