KZN is a province on the east coast of South Africa. It stands for KwaZulu Natal.

Temperatures in the south coast soared to 32 degrees on Tuesday and police officers at the scene told Sapa that the temperature inside the car had reached at least 37 degrees.
      That's 89.6 F and 98.6 F respectively, according to http://www.onlineconversion.com/ .

Yes, that's gross negligence, and the adult in charge should be prosecuted.

I'm originally from Phoenix, Arizona, and there were stories every year of babies, elderly and pets being left in cars in 110+ F heat. I really wish folks would get it through their thick stupid heads to take their loved ones indoors with them or leave them at home with a caregiver!

I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

I started to think it was a joke when I read "32 Degrees", but I remembered it was Celsius.

It's becoming that time of year again.
Soon the temperatures here in Florida will skyrocket. Last year was hot; this year is supposed to be even hotter.

In the ten years I have lived here, I can't remember a year when I didn't hear about someone leaving a child in a car. A parent, a pre-school teacher, a day care center worker....

How can you leave a child in a car?!

I have NO sympathy or pity for these people. Take the child away and throw the Library of Congress at the mother.
Age and wisdom don't necessarily go together. Some people just become stupid with more authority.
