  • How (not) to scam Del Taco

    So this guy passed himself off as a local CEO who had his lunch order screwed up in order to get $15 of free food from Del Taco.

    Which he might have gotten away with had he not made a YouTube video documenting it.

    (note: this is probably not the actual video. The actual video seems to be private)

    I'm all for it. It makes them so much easier to catch!

    Recently there was a case here where four teenagers who went around sneaking up behind schoolgirls and setting their hair on fire were arrested because they videoed it and put it on youtube.

      I'm glad the local law enforcement takes such things seriously. And from the comments of one of his accomplices, it seems they don't really think they did anything wrong.

      The $125,000 bond does seem a little excessive, though.

        And I thought happy-slapping was bad! Well, how about we do to them what they've done to others?
