PUPPIES!!!!!

Today is her X-ray day. Hopefully we get printouts of the X-rays.

Only 3 (huge) puppies, and that's it.

We were hoping for at least 5-6.

Yesterday was day 57, the earliest she might give birth. She is nexting BIG time and we have her little area set up but no puppies yet (althought we can still feel some kicking once in a while).

Kiri's temperature has started to drop...

Well, it's crunch time. The vet initially told us either today or tomorrow and she didn't eat her breakfast this morning. Her temperature last night was 100.1 degrees (normally 101.5 and it drops down to about 98 about 24 hours before she gives birth).

My wife thinks she'll have two boys and a girl, but I think the opposite (two girls and a boy).

I'm on an important call and my wife calls me. I ignore the call andmy voicemail beeps in.

OK, I end the call as soon as I can and my wife left me a voicemail:

"Call me back as soon as possible - it's important"

Uh-oh, doesn't sound good..

I quickly call her back.
"Is it OK if I use the package of chicken in the freezer to make jerkey?"
(She's been addicted to her own chicken jerkey recently).

Her temperature has dropped to 98.4 degrees. It will happen within 24 hours, a good chance it will be tonight.
