Wait so if I went into a bar and made a bad comment to the waitress, the manager would be in trouble? They would have to put in some speculation of "management was informed and did nothing" otherwise I dont' see how it's management's fault. Not sure how I feel about the burden of proof being on the employer. It has potential and I like how it makes it easier to boot bad customers but so far I think it needs a lot of work.

No Sir, I don't like it. Punish the customer making the comments, not the management and ownership who has no control over how their clientèle act. Generally they can only act on such behavior after they witness it or it is reported to them.

If management or ownership is so jello-spined that they continuously allow customers to treat their employees in a harassing fashion, they can be punished under hostile work environment rules that exist already.

My job involves me walking the streets, often without direct supervision, how is management supposed to deal with that?
A PSA, if I may, as well as another.
