Generally speaking, yes. Its normally a lot more dry than that, very 'dusty' prose.

I dunno, I sat a jury once on a child molestation case where the judge pretty much reamed the kid toucher a new one.

I mean, it's nice to see someone like that get so profoundly told, but on the other hand, you're sitting there thinking that nothing that gets said or done is enough.

The judge in my cousin's murder case was not very understanding nor sympathetic to the guy who killed her and her baby. I don't think the insanity plea worked as well as his lawyer had hoped it would.
