Anyone else chomping at the bit for this film?
It has a stellar cast (Tony Leung, Chen Chang, Zhang Fengyi, and Takeshi Kaneshiro!), a super director (John Woo) and it certainly looks as if no expense was spared in its production! All this, plus the movie being based on a historical battle of the Three Kingdoms period will ensure it will be a hit in China, but I hope the West is excited too! It's about time John Woo re-asserted his talent (I blame Hollywood for crushing his soul as it has so many other foreign directors and actors) and this film will be nothing if not entertaining.
