See, I never buy the underwear with the little metal hoo-hockeys on them because A) they look like they'd be uncomfortable as hell, and B) because I know how I take off and put on my clothes and there's a good chance I would whack myself in the face with them.
Still, I'd be too embarrassed to tell everyone I poked out my eye with my panties...

I saw a clip of the woman on the news last night.
While she did not look like someone who weighed 300 or more pounds . . .she also did not look like the Victoria Models either.
(I am not tiny either . . . a little larger than average but, not 300 lbs myself)
I have to wonder if she had on the correct size underwear?
I have to wonder if it would have broken without strain?
And why in the sam hill did it make it this far into the court system . . .do we just have another person who is tired of having to work to support themselves (boo hoo) and wants to find an easy way out?
Sorry I am just a tad bit annoyed with court system being bogged down with silly little things like this that could be quietly settled.

Um, it's Victoria's Secret.
Two bras I bought, the underwire came flying out in the washer after just a few washes.
Little charms and whatnot have fallen off my underwear. It's cheap. Shit happens. You really need to see a neurologist. - Wagegoth

What Vick's are YOU shopping at, Blas? Cheap?
I spend less on most of my pants and blouses for work than their bras cost!
Or, more to the point, where are you shopping that makes VS seem cheap? LOL I thought cheap was my bras from Target! My basic dog food advice - send a pm if you need more.

VS is very expensive but cheaply made products. Just look at the tags and see where they are made.
Well, actually, the faulty bras and panties are the knock off Italian brand, Intimissimo....the VS here has a small line of it. Never waste the money.
I still shop there because I LOVE the foamy bras.....they uplift so high and make me feel like a real woman with naturally perky breasts.
I call it cheap because their makeup and other beauty products are not very good quality. I love Pink perfume, but their makeup is like $2 mascara with a VS label on it, so then it becomes $15.You really need to see a neurologist. - Wagegoth

apology in advance, my caps lock is busted.
agreed on both points. the only time i ususally buy any makeup is when they have a decent sale. last time i was there i got some beauty rush things for 4 dollars apiece.
i found some really good bras that actually last a lot longer and are less expensive than victoria @ frederick's of hollywood. that's where i get my bras now, i spend a lot less money on bras cause they don't fall apart nearly as fast as vs. just thought i'd pass that tip along.

I agree. The cheaper underwire bras from Target last longer. (They have this great one where in the middle is a clasp that you can pull in the give the required cleavage you want for whatever outfit you are wearing or you can just wear it looser and be comfortable at home. I have several of those. Over a year and their still going strong.)Quoth blas87 View PostUm, it's Victoria's Secret.

That's unlucky, I've never had problems with Victoria's secret. Although I did have a bra from a different company (which I loved) tear in the front between the two cups after a few months when I had it in the laundry.
How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

I'll admit it for all the list to read. I buy bras at Wal*Mart. They actually last. I haven't even had an underwire poke out in years. And since they're cheap, I have no problem buying more when I see a cute one.
I have two VS bras. One's a strapless and the other I had to get to fit under the dress I got for my grandmother's funeral. When I came home to my hometown, I brought the dress because I bought it out where I'm living now, and wanted to see what my parents thought. I had only planned to stay the day, then my grandmother took a turn for the worse, and I ended up getting my parents to buy me new clothes so I didn't have to make the 100 mile drive (one way) to fetch more.SC: “Yeah, Bob’s Company. If I could find bra's at Target in my size I would give them a try . . .
As for Wal-Mart . . .when I can find them in my size . . .they cover way more than works with today's necklines if I find them. Also, at my local Wally World's they seem to cater their larger sized to only coming in dark colors . . .sorry but that won't work under a white shirt.

I have a bra similar to that...Lilly of France and got it for a good deal from a sale they had at Sears!Quoth Titi View PostI agree. The cheaper underwire bras from Target last longer.
